joins us live with more details. >> this person was heading down this street and he slapped down a fire truck. they discovered that the person driving had at least one gunshot wound to the head. they obviously, did some medical attention for him and transported him to the hospital. that is where things get crazy, apparently, there were witnesses at several locations along this area. this and close third and bryant. they claim that possibly this is where this took place. they drove over to this location and this is where he was gone. according to police, there are multiple gunshot holes in his car. it appears that there were multiple shots fired. they do not know exactly how many other crime scenes are going on. we are

northbound and southbound both sent alerts and like the lanes for quite a while. both are clear but look at the traffic jam. southbound backed up to burlingame. mountain view getting up towards woodside road so we are still very much time schedule. a 32 minute drive time here for the e shore freeway. jammed up and to the san ramon valley out of concord out of 680 southbound. with this 880 ride from the south end of oakland and all the way down to fremont and union city.

oakland police have arrested a 16 year-old was accused of setting an ac transit passenger on fire. on monday night they say that it appears this was a random act of violence. the victim is a 18 year-old luke fleischman who also goes by the name of sasha. police say he was lick on fire with a lighter while he was asleep on an ac transit bus and oakland. investigators have surveillance video they use to track down the suspect they say they want to know why someone would do

here's a live look at the bay bridge for the westbound a ride and you can see the traffic is pretty back up. were looking at a 32 minute drive time coming out of the macarthur maze from highway 24 to get through the bay bridge to back up. the 880 approach right over the top of the toll plaza as you concede is still backed up. we're going to leave here and check the maps as i show you the rest of the hot spots. traffic remains backed up in both directions. one lane at southbound is still lot backed up. and the north bound 101 of ride this is 32

alert is out this morning. the bay area man is on the run suspected of taking his 1 month old baby from a home in sunnyvale the man is believed to be in southern california now. kron4's mike pelton has the story. authorities say it took place at this apartment complex. they tell me they tracked the suspect cellphone to the kearny mesa an area just outside san diego. the chp at sunnyvale police department and public safety are all l'vov looking for the suspect in a vehicle they believe the suspect is driving is a tan or brown and gmc 2004 envoy. they also say that a vehicle has a large american eagle on their rear window. authorities said the suspect is the child's father. he's 6 ft. tall and weighs about 120 lbs.. the sunnyvale police department say yesterday afternoon around 415 he got into an argument with the child mother and then of deducted of the

child. authorities say the suspect indicated he was leaving the state with the child and he has made previous threats to harm himself and the baby. at this point it appeared to be looking for leads in southern california but they say if you see the vehicle license plates or if you know where the father and child are call 911. in sunnyvale, mike pelton, kron4 news. the >>james: following the latest for police are investigating an early- morning shooting on brandon right between third and fourth streets. kron4's jackets of the house of following the latest. he joins us now. >>: the morning. an officer was just yelling. this investigation of the shooting investigation has now turned into a homicide investigation just a last couple of minutes a homicide detective had showed up and we're getting word that the victim in this case died at the hospital. to back track.

still a lot of holes and exactly what happened this morning the limit to you exactly what we think happened according to some police. at around 5:00 this morning the driver of this gold car flags down a fire truck. at that point the fire truck thought the car had been in an accident because it was smoking and had serious and damaging blow when the victim got out of the car that's when they noticed that he had at least one gunshot wound to the hand. the victim was transported to a local hospital san francisco general and as i just said we are being told now that the victim died at the hospital. investigators went over to the car that's when they discovered multiple gunshots into the vehicle. and what we are being told is that there are multiple seams around. they are working on the premise that perhaps this person was shot.
